GLENPOOL, OK – Simple Simon’s Pizza® proudly announces the opening of their flagship “South County” store in the Southwest Crossroads development at 121st Street South and Highway 75 in Glenpool, OK.
The prototype store is the first element of a two-phase project in the Southwest Crossroad retail development for J&H Foods, parent company of Simple Simon’s Pizza® and CheeZies Pizza® concepts. The company is also relocating its corporate headquarters to a new 6,000 square-foot office building nearby, with construction scheduled to begin early in 2014.
The new Simple Simons Pizza® store features an updated floor plan and architecture, with interior seating for 84 patrons, plus outdoor patio dining surrounding a large brick fire pit. The 3000-square-foot facility utilizes a state-of-the-art design focused on family comfort, and includes a large buffet area, multi-head self-service drink station along with fresh tea and lemonade, and nine flat-screen high-definition TV’s with menu offerings, current specials, and live cable programming positioned throughout the dining area.
Interior design highlights include the large natural-stone fireplace, the towering picture window in the shape of the iconic “hat” within the Simple Simon’s logo, the “circa 1983” illustration (by Sapulpa artist Mark Combs) of one of the first Simple Simon’s stores in Prattville, OK, and the stunning translucent resin panels bordering the dining area, embedded with strips of red silk hand-woven by native artisans in Nepal.
The South County Simple Simon’s store is the second corporate-owned location for J&H Foods in the Glenpool area. CheeZies Pizza®, a fast-serve version of the Simple Simon’s Pizza® model, is located on 141st Street in Glenpool. Both stores will be utilized as management training facilities for new franchisees within the J&H system, as well as test kitchens for new products and menu offerings.

The store is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with a menu featuring several longtime Simple Simon’s Pizza staples, including the popular Simple Simon’s Pizza Buffet for lunch Sunday through Friday, and for dinner on Tuesday nights. Other favorites include the full-time salad bar, the Simple Simon’s Supreme Pizza, and The Original Calizone (pronounced “CAL-ah-zone”), a unique Simple Simon’s signature item for three decades.
