Simple Simon’s Pizza has always been a family business... and always will be.
When BJ and Becky Dumond opened their first Simple Simon’s Pizza location in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, in 1987, they didn’t know a lot about operating their own business. But they did know one thing: they wanted to work together. Their first Simple Simon’s Pizza location was the start of a dream to own their own business and to build that business together, as a family.
BJ and Becky scraped together what they could, and, with a lot of uncertainty, took a huge leap of faith to open their very first franchise. With a lot of patience, learning, and grace, the Dumonds learned the ropes and grew from novice franchisees to savvy business owners.
Now several years later, the Dumond family is still working together in the pizza business as the owners of Simple Simon’s Pizza.

Growing the Simple Simon’s family by staying true to our values
Simple Simon’s Pizza has since welcomed many other small business owners with the same dreams, growing our franchise family from humble beginnings to 200 locations (and counting!).
We’ve innovated to create delicious menu items like The Original Calizone and The Stromboli. We’ve perfected our recipes and experimented with ingredients to create the highest quality pizza at an affordable price point. With the support of our communities, we are becoming a well known brand in the midwest.
But no matter how much we grow, Simple Simon’s Pizza has stayed focused on its foundation of family values. Our franchisees know they can count on integrity, commitment, and boots-on-the-ground support from their Simple Simon’s family.
The Dumonds are living their dream of running a business as a family. Their desire is to make this dream possible for others and support them on their journey to success.
